Spooky Season
Last year for Halloween weekend I visited my best-friend in Normal, Illinois where she goes to school at. This year I decided to keep the tradition going and visit her on the greatest weekend of the year again. I went up on Saturday afternoon and we decided to match but had absolutely no idea what to be with very little time left. I take Halloween very serious and can usually come up with some pretty creative costumes but this year I was to busy and never got the chance too sadly! It was also sooooo cold out so we chose to get some Halloween gear instead and keep it casual. We bought these customs Minnie Mouse Halloween shirts and I ended up bargaining down the price by $10 less than what the guy wanted to sell it for. My friend, Jennah, has her own apartment and it beats the dorms here by 10000000x and it's also decorated inside and out with Halloween decorations. After we got ready we went to a party we were invited to and it was a high-school reunion! We got to see so many familiar faces and meet some new people too. The most asked question of the night was: "What are you guys?" Our reply: "Minnie... Jack-O'-Lanterns *points at socks, it was the best that we can come up with. We got back to her apartment and around 2 and stayed up till 5 making breakfast and having the best time.. it was definitely a much needed weekend for myself. I got to finish off the weekend by finally craving my pumpkin back at home! I decided to do something simple, Cookie Monster, because of homework but no doubt if there was extra hours in the day I would challenge myself with the impossible... 1 more day till Halloween!!
