I didn't go to just one but.. two pumpkin patches this weekend! This is the perfect time of the year to get fresh kettle corn, hot or cold apple cider, apple cider donuts, and corn on the cob! The weather wasn't too cold or too hot and thankfully I went Friday and missed the storm on Saturday. I been to plenty of pumpkin patches before but Goebbert's is the best yet, the one in Hampshire, IL. They have pumpkins lying around to purchase or you can go on the tractor ride and pick your pumpkin in the field. After going through the corn maze my boyfriend and I went to pick our pumpkins and we ended up getting two of them that weighed 90lbs! I'm still deciding if I want to carve it or paint it. Saturday and Sunday morning I spent at ISU visiting friends and it was a nice little trip. My friend has her own apartment out there and it was completely covered in Halloween decorations. I'm looking forward to visiting again, the drive back always seems to drag though. It was a great weekend but I'm counting down the days till Halloween weekend!
